Austin and I visteded the Sandylake Dam for the first time on Sunday. I have been traveling quite a bit: Kingsville, Austin, New Orleans. Haven't had the occasion to do much fishing. I am heading to Florida later this month and the Sandbass are going to start the run in my neck of the woods soon. Its all uphill from here folks! The worst part of winter is over and those spawning bluegill are just over the next horizon.

ReplyDeleteWe're going to have to go back there soon. The flow's up a bit right now and that'll allow the hybrids and sandies to move up. The fishing there will be amazing in about 1 month.
