Great looking fish Jonathan---just curious what weight and length rod are you using?
ReplyDeletemy wife is using a tfo 6'7" 3 weight, and I am using a orivs 6wt helios 9 ft. Its my main "mixed bag rod"
ReplyDeleteI am looking to purchase to 3 wt. 8 1/2 ft. for the bluegill that I catch. I am using a 7 1/2 ft. 3 wt at this time but I am not satisfied with the distance I am getting with this rod. What is your opinion on a 4 wt 8 1/2 or 9 ft. for gills? Have you used this type rod, if so do you like the action for gills and largemouth?
