That time of year...

I am looking out my window on the 49th floor. It is raining, which is awesome. I love winter. I hope its brutal. I am looking forward to more Pickerel fishing, going after some Crappies, and hunting season.

I thought I would post some more pictures from Alaska, back in June...

  1. I love winter too...and as long as it's going to be cold, it might as well snow. That's always been my stance on the matter. So...here's to a brutal, harsh winter!

  4. Fishing in the winter is not usual in our area. In winter our pond, canal and river loses their water and they become dry. However, This season is favorable for carp fishing. Since I love carp fishing, I spend my time in fishing in winter seaon. Thanks for this nice blog.

  5. Actually, the best time to fish for Pickerel is in early spring. It is when they are right close to shore. They will also be found in the weeds or rocky points. But, I must say, very good job catching that big fish you got!
