New Rod

This weekend I used some Christmas Gift cards at BassPro and picked up a new TFO rod and a white river fly reel with line. I ende dup getting the 7'6" 4 piece 3wt. I am hoping I will be able to catch some fish with it soon. This cold weather has me all depressed!

The Proposition

This has become one of my favorite movies. It is a western set in Australia during the early 1900s. Think along the lines of "There will be blood" when it comes to the tone of the movie. I would recommend you go buy it now, this very second, but renting it would suffice as well....

Dog Days of Winter

Here we are...Feb 2010.

Its really not that cold in Dallas, but it is not warm either. Its that crappy late winter weather. To cold for the fish, at least any I'd want to fish for, and not cold enough to do fun winter things like......errr.......who am I kidding winter isn't fun. Unless your hunting, or celebrating the Season with alot of "Ring-Ting-Tinglin' Too" then it basically blows.
